Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa

Diana Brandt

The Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa is an amazing place to relax and unwind. The resort is nestled near the mountain and this creates sprawling views of the city that can't be beat. The resort food is some of the best I've had in awhile and the rooms were good enough that I'd retire there. If you're looking for the kind of vacation or staycation that will take your mind off things, truly refresh your spirit and be peaceful, this is the place for you.

When I was there for an evening, I found the crowd to be older, meaning there were no young kids screaming and splashing in the infinity pool. There is one pool, below the restaurant that has those views of the city you can stare off into for hours. The rooms are spacious, the beds are welcoming, the bathtub is to die for and the service is impeccable. The staff makes sure to take great care of you and the entire experience will make you feel like you're at an extension of your home. Let's not forget the spa, which is top rated and if you're in the mood to hike, the trails are nearby.

It's not too late for one last staycation, I highly suggest you head in and find your own sanctuary. For all the pictures from our stay, check them out here: https://www.arizonafoodiemag.com/sanctuary
