I went to Palm Springs for the FIRST time ever. Sure I've drive by on my way to LA and Disneyland but I've never opted to stop. In the past year, my social feed continues to be rife with pictures of people eating, lounging and just having a great time in Palm Springs. I figured I should see what I was missing out on. Afterall, this is a super close location for us to visit and I've heard the food is good.
I had been eyeing some spots on Airbnb for this Palm Springs vacation. I don't know about you but the majority of the trips I do, consist of staying at Airbnb spots. It just so happened that this place called the Dome House in Palm Springs was available and had a special last minute price. I scooped that thing up faster than ice cream. This is a great place to stay. If you say my IG stories, it's a beautiful home with three rooms, one is a loft, tons of windows, plenty of room for everyone to enjoy and it was out in a private area away from everything. This made it serene and peaceful, it was super relaxing and I only wish I had more time to hang out in the home but I wanted to do a lot of exploring too. You can follow the home on IG here: https://www.instagram.com/palmspringsdomehouse/?hl=en
My friend and I were only there for a couple days and we arrived late the first night and left the third day early in the morning. So basically we had one full day to explore and that didn't leave a ton of opportunity to eat at a lot of different places. Here are the few spots that I did get to enjoy and I'm hoping I'll be able to continue the list soon.
Workshop Kitchen and Bar was where we stopped for dinner the first evening and I had an amazing pork chop and dessert.
Ernest Coffee was delicious and super cute spot. This is where we started our walking down the main street in Palm Springs and ended up walking for about 2 hours.
Parker Palm Springs is not only fun to hang out in but you should probably check out Counter Reformation for food.
Rooster and the Pig was delicious and even though there will probably be a decent wait when you go, you should still be patient and wait it out. The food is worth it! You know I love Vietnamese food and this was a wonderful treat.

There were a couple other places that we ate and drank at but I wouldn't recommend them so at this time, I know the list is small but it's a good start!
Non Food things we did:
Joshua Tree National Park Exploration was a commitment I didn't know we were in for. It's a gorgeous place and we enjoyed driving through and seeing it all but it's huge, so plan to have a lot of time to do all this. Bring your hiking shoes too, I wish we had time to do some hiking through there.
Walked 2 hours down the main street in Palm Springs. This is a great way to see the area and maybe even drop into some of the popping restaurants.
Cabazon Dinosaurs was a bit of a drive but fun to see the dinosaurs and you can pay to go through the dinosaur exhibit for more exploration.
