Arizona Restaurant Week is an opportunity to try out all kinds of restaurants from all over town for a price of either $33/person or $44/person. I also noticed that a few restaurants are doing $44 or $33 per couple. Restaurant Week will go from May 17th to May 26th and you can find a full list of participating restaurants on their website.
I had the opportunity last week to go to Nobuo at Teeter House for a special preview of their Restaurant Week Menu and to say I was impressed would be an understatement. I potentially have to go back to Nobuo during restaurant week to have this meal again.
We started with veggies, veggies that were all done right! This little plate had brussel sprouts, that I could have eaten a whole tray of, shishito peppers, radish and beans.
The main course is your choice of a fish or meat bento box. I mean, you can't go wrong with either one. If you go with someone else, get one of each and then share. The meat was definitely my favorite! Each item in those boxes was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. You'll get soft shell crab, pork belly buns, fried chicken nanban and whatever other items Chef has on hand for the night. Each bento box also comes with rice and salad.
For dessert, you can choose from their strawberry pie, which had the most amazing crust on it. Or the carrot cake, which was equally as amazing, with a hint of ginger.
So what are you waiting for? Make a reservation or you may miss out on your opportunity to try this cute little restaurant for restaurant week. Also, in case you wanted to get a gift card to Nobuo at Teeter House, I'm giving one away on Instagram and you can enter that here.
