Restaurant Opening: Gadzooks


The enchiladas are coming to the East Valley!  Aaron and Jared Pool, the brothers and owners behind the award winning Gadzooks Enchiladas & Soup in midtown Phoenix, Arcadia, and Tempe, are excited to announce the latest location their popular fast-casual Mexican restaurant is headed east to Chandler.  Opening on Thursday, January 9 at 11am at 290 S. Arizona Ave. Chandler, AZ 85225, it's housed inside a stylish space at the intersection of Arizona Ave. & Frye Street in downtown Chandler.  Fans can line up early on opening day, and 10 people in line will win free enchiladas for a year*.  


Gadzooks Chandler is a striking 2,200 sq.-ft. restaurant, not including the outdoor dining patio which will be able to seat around 30 guests for an al fresco dining experience. The new location features Gadzook's signature modern look, including concrete block construction, bold orange furnishings and colorful accents, and a bright, airy indoor-outdoor layout. Tucked behind the service counter, Gadzooks towering gas-fired wood stone oven will be quick-cooking their award winning build your own tacos, enchiladas, soups--all fully customizable with Modelo Braised Bison, Sweet and Spicy Cornbread, honey vinegar slaw, pickled onions, hand-hacked guacamole, etc. Plus, don't miss the house-made Osborn Oro margaritas, Wren House Beer from the Pools' brother Drew, fresh baked cookies and more.


Aaron Pool says the new Chandler location would cater to new groups of customers, including families in the East Valley.  Pool says, "Gadzooks is a fun, casual family friendly environment perfect for all ages, and we're excited to serve new fans in Chandler."

*Contest rules: Everyone in line before 11am will receive a number, and at 11am, 10 numbers will be selected at random! Max of 4 enchiladas per month between January 9, 2020 and January 8, 2021.
